Kate DiCamillo

Kate DiCamillo was my favourite author as a kid. She was the reason I got in to reading in 4th grade. Her books are mostly exciting and interesting to me. What I really like about her stories is that it is always about animals. One of the books I read was called " The Tales of Despereauex" Which most people know and " Because of Win-Dixie".

Her books were always lifting up my spirits from the crazy adventures that the character and their animal friend have. For example in the book Flores and Ulysses when the squirrel gained superpowers from a vacuum. Kate DiCamillo always brings out the kid in me from her books from her stories.
