German boy. Book, Wolfgang Samuel The book, is an autobiography of Samuel Wolfgang. Samuel starts out in a house in a city in Germany, during the highest point for the Germans during world war 2. And very quickly, things start to go bad. A German soldier warned Samuel’s family about the front lines coming closer to their house, and they fled on a train to a house closer to Berlin. The story follows them as they become refugees. They are taken over by the Russians, then the Germans, and then the Russian again. Then after the war, they finally make it back to west Germany. The rest of the story follows their struggle as refugees in the new Germany.

Although, there may be a few parts with explicit content in the story, it still is a great and wonderful book. It shows the love that Wolfgang's father and mother and sacrifice that they showed for him.
