A Time I was paralyzed

A time for when I was in shock was when I fell on my bike going down the hill from my house, on the way to school. I was going down the hill at top speed (25mph), at the bottom of the hill, I attempted a tight turn, that didn't work out well, as I turned, my wheels slipped, and the bike and I fell on our side. The bike stopped after a metre of falling down, but I on the other hand, skidded on the ground for about two metres. I landed right in the middle of the 4-lane road, and a car almost hit me, luckily swerving at the last minute. I stood up, walked the bike and into the sidewalk, and just stood, staring at the blood trickling down my leg in two places. I knew I had to do something, but I just stood there, and staring at the road, I almost got ran over by a car earlier, I could have died...I knew what I had to do, but I couldn't move from the place I was standing at, for about five minutes. After I calmed down, I got unto my bike, and biked to java joes, cause I really wanted a frappé.
